Stella Maris Parent & Toddler Group needs volunteers to help with activities on Tuesday mornings, term time only.

Could you help with making refreshments at a club in Oulton Broad on Thursdays from 10.00am - 2.00pm?

WRVS, Meals on Wheels are currently recruiting volunteer drivers and escorts following their relocation to a base on the South Lowestoft Industrial Estate.

The Hand in Hand Club for people with dual-sensory loss are looking for volunteer escorts to help people on and off the minibus. The club meets on the first Monday of each month and the time commitment would be 11.30am - 1.30pm and 4.30pm - 6.30pm. Volunteers are welcome to stay and join in with activities but not essential.

Waveney Women's Health Information Centre need volunteers for reception duties.

Community First Responders - are recruiting volunteers to attend 999 calls administering first aid. Current areas of recruitment are Lowestoft South, Pakefield, Kessingland, Wrentham, Gillingham & Raveningham and Bungay.

SS Robin Trust - the SS Robin is the oldest complete steamship in the world and is currently docked in Lowestoft for restoration and preservation. They have various volunteering opportunities including archiving, IT (installation of software, configuration of hardware, basic networking, and problem solving, and fundraising.

Community First Responders are needed in the Carlton Colville area. Tasks include responding to 999 calls when the ambulance may be delayed - comforting patient and relatives, administering O2, CPR, mouth to mouth, defribrillate heart, i.e. administer basic life support until the ambulance arrives.

Many charities and community organisations will be holding their Annual General Meetings during the next few months. New committee members are always welcomed, particularly people willing to undertake officer's duties, e.g. Treasurer.

Age Concern Befriending Service would like to recruit volunteers, particularly people living in the Kessingland area, to visit elderly people on a weekly basis for one hour.
